First Retirement!
Michael Jordan has played in the NBA from 1984 to
2003, Jordan was drafted by the Chicargo Bulls in 1984 and played untill 1993. In 1993 he announced his retirement after 9 years with the bulls, in the same year Jordan's dad, James Jordan was killed on July 23rd 1993, and October 6th, 1993 was the day Jordan Announced his retirement which was 62 days after the death of his father.

Professional Baseball (1994-95)
Following JOrdan's retirement from basketball, the chicargo Bulls chairman; Jerry Reinsdorf asked Michael, what he wanted to do next, he simply replied " I want to play baceball, it was always my fathers dream to become baceball player." So on February 7th 1994, 31 year old Michael Jordan, signed a minor-legue contract with the Chicargo white sox. He played untill the next year he finished.
Chicago Bulls (1995-1998)
On March 18th, 1995 Michael Jordan issued a two-word relese to the media, his two words were "I'm Back!" The 32 year-old appeared in the Chicargo bulls uniform the next day. his well-known number of 23 had been retired by Chicargo after Jordan had announced his retirement so he wore 45 insted. In his first game since the 1993 NBA finals, Jordan scored 19 points in 45 minutes of play.The following year Jordan was back in his old uniform along with number 23. Jordan yet again led the bulls in scoring 30.5 PPG ( Points per game)
the next year with a fully trained Jordan, the bulls comeback was beyond what fans expected, with the Bulls having 72 victories,which was three more than the previous record set by the 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers in NBA history.
The 4th title for the bulls in the 90's was clinched on fathers day, and he dedicated the championship to his late father.

Second retirement!
Jordan's contract expired following the 1997-98 season, and with the NBA under a lockout, his status was in limbo. However, in the offseason, Jordan announced his retirement for the second time.
Washington Wizards (2001-2003)
Michael Jordan's desire to win, led him to come back out of retirement once again. but this time Jordan wasn't returning to the Chicargo bull but was joining the Washington Wizards, he lasted two years with the wizards, since 2001 Jordan didn't regain his dominance he had when he played for the bulls. In his first year with the wizards jordan averaged 22.9 points pre game and 20.0 ppg in his second year.
Jordan was named to the 2002 and 2003 All-star teams.
Jordan's final NBA appearence was on April 16th 2003, in a 20 point loss to the Philadelphia 76ers Jordan scored 15 points and added four rebounds and four assists to his game statistic's.
The 40 year-old Michael Jordan left the court with 1:44min remaining. When everything finished, Jordan averaged 30.1 points per game on 49.7 percent shooting for his career. His 32,292 career points stand as the third-most points of all-time behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone.
